Aertssen Group, that's working ecologically
AertssEn stands for Ecological. We want to grow, but with respect for our planet. We are aware that we have the earth on loan to future generations. We try to use non-renewable raw materials as economically as possible and to reduce our ecological footprint. In all new initiatives that we develop, we try to make social and ecological return the core of our business.
Reduce our ecological footprint
At Aertssen Group, we work every day to reduce our ecological impact. We opt for a EURO6 fleet, reduce our fleet’s idle time, transport excavated soil via inland waterways, use energy-efficient building techniques, research alternative energy sources for our machines and invest in renewable energy.
Our Sustainable Development Goals
With the Sustainable Development Goals, the United Nations established 17 goals for global sustainable development. From these, we selected 6 goals that are particularly relevant to us:
